Faith Bautista: First AAPI Woman-Owned TV Network

Just as this inspiring woman who paved the way to have an opportunity, and opened the door for the voiceless, proves that with hard work and dedication it will pay off with fulfillment.

Faith Bautista, a Filipina American, was born and raised in Manila. Founder and CEO of National Diversity Coalition (NDC) a non-profit advocacy group for financial equality and empowerment in under-served communities, also the President and the CEO of National Asian American Coalition (NAAC), She is in charge of building NAAC's successes, which include CDFI, SBA, and HUD certification for serving minority and low-income populations. NAAC was recognized as the Nonprofit of the Year 2021.Through her leadership, her diligence and tenacity gives an encouragement for the people to continue and fight for what is right. . Faith attended Harvard Divinity School for leadership training, as well as the Wharton School, UCLA, and UCSD. In addition to NDC and NAAC. She is regarded as the First Asian American and Woman owned TV network in American history. ChimeTV network, a tv channel that focused on Asian American culture and issues that highlights the excellence of Asian people.

Ms. Bautista was appointed by President Trump's administration in 2017 to the Treasury Department's CDFI Fund Community Advisory Board and the FCC's broadband adoption and diversity advisory board. Also, she managed Mabuhay Alliance to make loans primarily to ethnic Filipino and Southeast Asian small business owners. Faith is also renowned as one of the outstanding business women that has received numerous awards for her business success in San Diego.

Her exceptional and superb success paints a picture of an empowered and passionate woman. In her younger years, she peeked through the window of her neighbor’s house to watch television for the first time and now became the owner and operator of a television network.
