Famous Cities Amongst Chinese Travelers

A large part of tourism in America is made by Chinese visitors who spend dozens of billions of dollars during their holidays in America per year.

But, where do the Chinese go when they travel to America? What are their favorite places? Let's embark on a journey to some famous cities that the Chinese value in America.

NEW YORK

Chinese nationals just love the Big Apple and it’s an absolute must to come and see it. New York is popular for its bright lights, Empire State Building, Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, Times Square, Central Park, 5th Avenue, world-class museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the United Nations headquarters. Another attraction several hours from New York City is Niagara Falls. Niagara Falls is one of the world’s most visited tourist sites. Almost 14 million tourists visit it every year.

WASHINGTON DC

Over 300.000 visitors visit the United States capital city. They just go crazy about taking a picture in front of the White House, the home of the American president. There are also plenty of other visiting sites in Washington that are quite inspiring to see. Some of these are the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and Jefferson Memorial.

LOS ANGELES

Lots of Chinese tourists come to Los Angeles because of the large population of Chinese - Americans that live here. One of the things the Chinese do when visiting is going to the Hollywood walk of fame to take pictures of stars bearing names, hand and footprints of famous celebrities. Another place they visit is the Dolby Theatre, the venue where the Oscars are held each year. One of the most popular sights is the Madame Tussauds Hollywood, where wax figures are presented of sports icons, celebrities and leaders. Of course, going to the Hollywood sign is an absolute must for these tourists. Last but not least sight for visiting is the Universal Studios where they get to enjoy movie theme activities like Jurassic Park - The Ride and the Walking Dead walkthrough attraction.

BOSTON AND HARVARD UNIVERSITY

There are many sights to see in Boston. One of these sights is the Freedom trail. The Freedom trail is a 2.5 mile red line preserved and dedicated by the citizens of Boston in 1951 which leads to 16 nationally significant historic sites. It also contains churches, museums, meeting houses, parks, burying grounds, and a ship. It has historic markers that tell the story of the American Revolution and beyond. Boston is also known for its center of excellence, the Harvard University, which attracts students, Harvard hopefuls, and their families. Other attractions include The Museum of Fine Arts, Faneuil Hall Marketplace and The Boston Common and Public Garden.

LAS VEGAS

Las Vegas is high on the list of cities for Chinese visitors in America. There they can embrace some of the great possibilities! Get married by Elvis or spend the weekend playing with the rich and famous in some of the most prestigious casinos. Besides gambling, which is an option number 1 in Las Vegas, one can also enjoy theaters, museums, and plenty of entertainment options.
