Not only violence on Asian American were witnessed during the pandemic, as well as bullying of all kinds for our youths, that is why Mina Fedor stepped up and led the AAPI Movement for youths at the age of 13.
Mina Fedor lives around Berkeley, California. With the rise of Asian hate during 2021, AAPI Youth Rising was founded by her. A youth-led organization dedicated to address the ongoing crimes targeted towards the Asian community and amplify the voices of the youths affected by it.

AAPI Youth Rising is composed mostly of Mina’s friends who are also middle school students. Their main mission is to educate diversity and give platform and attention to Asians, as well as create a positive change in a world full of hate against their community. Even if Mina believes “Real Change is in Legislative action”, She is still persistent on creating positive social changes through small actions that could be a big ripple in the long run.
