Born in South Korea, Eugene Cho is a well-known Korean-American pastor and author who grew up in San Francisco, California. He is the founder of Quest Church— an urban, multi-cultural and multi-generational church in Seattle, Washington but decided to step down last 2018 after 18 long years. However, Reverend Eugene Cho is still able to fulfill his calling as a pastor through his two other organizations: Bread for the World and One Day’s Wages.
He evangelized people with the word of God involving social justices for the Asian community. Being a true leader is truly a God’s calling. His mission to strengthen one’s faithfulness, morality and radical love that goes beyond nationalities were followed by many as he travels around the world to encourage different societal groups in the pursuit of God’s kingdom alongside humanity.
Eugene’s call for justice and love is not limited to his fellow Asian Americans. He is also the voice of indigenous people, Palestine and Black Americans.

One of the greatest movements of Eugene Cho was the birth of One Day’s Wages or OWD. It is a nonprofit organization that raises awareness to strengthen collaborative movement across the globe to end global poverty. This grassroots movement has successfully partnered with different big and small organizations throughout the years.
Aside from being a humanitarian and pastor, Eugene Cho is also an author of two books: Thou Shalt Not Be a Jerk: A Christian's Guide to Engaging Politics and Overrated: Are We More in Love with the Idea of Changing the World Than Actually Changing the World? That tackles a wide range of topics rooted in Christianity and his visions towards humanity.
The journey of Eugene Cho is a great model of boundless faith as he unites people not just through the word of God but also through one’s life advocacy. He was able to use his calling as a pastor, humanitarian, author and entrepreneur to be the voice of not just the AAPI community but all the people that are in need of great support. It was his boundless faith that made him truly one of a kind— a man of God and a man of people.
